Abstract

The Military Public Prosecutor's Office, at the right time, had the happy initiative of devising, together with the Procura Generale Militare presso la Corte di Cassazione and the Universitá di Roma Tre, the Comparative Military Law Seminar Brazil and Italy, which was held at the beginning of April 2024. The aforementioned Seminar provided us with a brief comparison between the two legal systems in what is pertinent to the attributions, competences and functionalities of the application of the Law by the various bodies that make up the Military Justice of the two friendly Nations: Brazil and Italy.

Bachelor of Laws from AEUDF (1982), Specialist in Human Rights from UnB / ESMPDFT / UNIVERSIDADE DE ESSEX (2000); Lawyer registered with the OAB / DF under number 5,189; Attorney General of INCRA (1989/1990); Legal Consultant to the Ministry of Defense (2003/2005); Consultant to the Union of the Attorney General's Office of the Union (2007/2010); Minister of the Superior Military Court (2010); Vice-President of the STM (2015/2017); Director of the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates of the Military Justice of the Union - ENAJUM (2023/2024).
