As a reflection of the constitutional guarantees by the Federal Constitution of 1988, there was a strengthening of the Ombudsman’s Office, with expansion of the communication channel between society and institutions. In this context, the exercise of the functions of the Military Public Prosecutor’s Office is of paramount importance, since, in an extrajudicial seat, by sorting the cases, it prevents one of the hypotheses of committing the crime of false accusation, unburdening the judicial machine, besides protecting the Administration of Justice and the honor of the citizen.
